Come See Why We Love Calling Northport Home

On Main Street, shops, restaurants, antique stores and offices fill early 20th-century commercial buildings along lively sidewalks. The street, with vintage trolley tracks still showing, slopes down to a harborfront park with a gazebo on one side and a band shell facing a tree-lined green on the other. A boardwalk looks out on the boat-filled, naturally sheltered Northport Harbor, which leads into Long Island Sound.

Superbly maintained Victorians, colonials and other venerable one-of-a-kind dwellings crowd around the village center and line Woodbine Avenue and Bayview Avenue, which begin at the base of Main Street and run along the harbor. The Whales Tale is located in Britannia Yachting Center steps away from the Woodbine Avenue Northport Village entrance. Come See us!

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

"Northport’s 19th-century houses, waterfront parks, the town dock, scenic harbor, the vintage Northport Sweet Shop, an old-fashioned ice cream parlor are just a hint of what makes this small town a special place,”
